One (or ten) thing(s) you are working on in your house.
1 moving this yellow storage thing from the bedroom to the main room to tie. Into Roberts desk/workstation.
2. Somehow creating the new space from that into a lower side bed for Charlotte.
3 dealing with these books-what to keep what to take to book nook
4 this wall. Supposed to be out inspiration wall. It's a ways from finished:)
What book you are reading or want to start reading.
No book no plans.
What your favorite winter outfit looks like.
This picture is a big deal. I had to get the iron out of storage for this one:). The skirt is a thrift find on half off day but was badly wrinkled after falling off the hanger in my closet. The scarf is a new favorite Robert bought for me on his birthday:) love it because I throw in on and I instantly look like I put effort I to getting ready lol. Also works well to cover lower shirts and help when nursing in public:)the bracelets I borrowed from mom of date night and am thinking about storing for her;)The boots are my uniform. I put them on the first day of winter and wear them everyday til spring. I'm serious I don't wear anything else. They were definitely a love purchase from Robert. When his back was hurt and money was SUPER TIGHT, he worked an extra job to buy these for me when he found out the $10 Clearence shoes from target were causing me issues. Like a good tight wad I fought the idea even spent weeks researching hoping he would forget - but in the end he didn't really give me a choice:). Leather and sheepskin keep me warm, they are great for my back and everytime I put them on I think about what he did❤️❤️❤️A recipe you make at least once a week because it is easy.
Tuna for lunch with cubed cheese, sliced pickles, raisins or cranberries, on farm bread. Or creamy chicken - pan fried chicken, cubed, mix in cream, cream cheese, garlic, salt
Pregnancy updates
I am not pregnant:)
Two things on your to do list.
Make charlottes growth chart
Finish our taxes:p this one kills me because I usually have these do e before your even allowed to file. Three kids is hard! Shocker lol😂One tip on keeping every level space in your house from becoming a pile.
Every flat surface i our house has multiple uses. So we can't really let things pileup or we can't use it:) my sewing table is also our desk and ironing board. Table is often also art area, desk, sewing station etc. etc. so basically i just Have to clean a lot😝
One big thing you want to accomplish in the next year. Want to, not will :) You will not be held to this!
I want to finish Charlotte and Cecelia's quilts. Both started both in a pile in my sewing cabinet.
Your favorite recent thrift store find.
PINK wool blanket! Orange feather throw pillow and urban outfitters teal pillow 😍😍😍What is the next space you are going to organize and some thoughts you have about it.
My kitchen cabinets - so many things so little space. Main thought is goodwill! And I have to figure out a way to keep everything from going crazy when we drive. I have soft containers but those don't really hold up well.
There you go! Happy birthday bossy sister 😂

Oh my goodness! ! I love my presents! Your outfit looked even better in person-I liked the scarf but even more so, the skirt. Such a flattering shape and great color. I bet now that you have it ironed you'll wear it everyday until it's too dirty to justify it anymore. I want tips besides "clean a lot" :) LOVE, LOVE, LOVE tha UO pillow!
ReplyDeleteI don't have any tips. I mean if we want to eat dinner after I see then I have to put everything back. But you know me. I love house work so bring it on!!! 😝 and that may it may not be true about the skirt😉
DeleteThe typewriter is great love the color. Love scarves too, that one is cute and it does make you look like "Oh, she put together a nice outfit!" Love wool and you don't find pink often! That was a great update.
ReplyDeleteOh, I wanted to be the first to do this but it looks like Travis and now Melissa beat me to it. Great list!
ReplyDeleteMom your post was exactly what I was looking for!
ReplyDeleteLoved reading this! It gave me a little peek into your life, and at some mundane things you probably would never have blogged about, but that are fun to know:)
