Robert was totally and completely for the THM plan when I read to him that coffee was plan approved:) We went to David’s yesterday and picked out some stevia drops and organic coffee. Then at Goodwill we found an espresso machine for $5.00 (I’m just like Serene:)
I had to watch a YouTube video to learn how to make it and 10 drops and 2 T of raw cream later he declared it was better than Wawa with creamer – whoo hoo. Cecelia also loves the taste of coffee!!! It smelled good so I tried a sip and almost spit it out – still so bitter and disgusting to me.
He likes 1-2 shots of espresso with the rest of the cup hot water – which I’ve learned is an Americano.
Speaking of which if anyone sees a burr espresso grinder at a yard sale it would be a perfect Christmas gift for Robert
Plan approved coffee is officially Robert approved!
** Erin of Sweet Leaf assured me the "natural flavors" in the Sweet Drops is a proprietary blend of essential oils and herbs only.

Yummo!!!
ReplyDeleteI just got sweet drops today, anxious to use it.
ReplyDeleteWe never quite gave up the "c" word up here, especially when it is such a social and comfort thing up here as we have a loooong winter. Our people are COFFEE drinkers! They like it black, plain and alot of it. Glad we can safely come out of the closet now.
ReplyDeleteI was just looking at a mini espresso maker, but the aluminum turned me off. But then I also need lessons on how to properly use one, thank goodness for youtube
