Helper Girl

The last few days in Kentucky were hot, hot, hot!  Robert was working fast and almost non stop trying to finish up the siding before the end of the week.  So it was my job to keep him well supplied with water.  Luckily I didn’t have to do it all alone.  (though it looks like it, Robert has nails in his mouth not a cigarette:)

About every 10 to 15 minutes I would send Cecelia out with a cup of water for Robert.  She was so proud that she got to carry it out and was excited that she didn’t have to share the job with Bella (who was ALWAYS at Bethany’s :) The reason I had to send her out so often was because half the cup would get spilled which happens when she would drink it on the way.

Once back inside she would split her time between cutting anything I would let her and “reading” the A Beka reading book.  She was thrilled that she didn’t have to share with Bella (she is still waiting on “Grammy” to get her her own book)

Wednesday afternoon Robert put up the last piece of siding with just a 5 foot piece to spare!  I’m pretty sure the steady flow of water help him make it through the almost unbearable heat:)
