Cooking for the Freezer

One of the things I wanted to do while I was here is some baking for the freezer.  Mom was very worried that I wouldn’t get around to it because we have to grind the flour when there were no kids around – a hard task when there are seven of them!  Today I doubled a batch of my favorite biscuits and a tripled a batch of waffles.  Already in the freezer are four things of pizza dough.  Next on the list is soaked bagels._MG_7603

I used a vegetable chopper to incorporate the coconut oil…made it much faster than a fork!

Mom picked up my camera and took these smashing pictures.   I thought it was neat – Sheila’s recipe, Lesli’s kitchen, apron from Andrea, and Me=)

Mama’s helper – she is cutting her two front teeth and having trouble sleeping so instead of napping she got to help me.  She and Jackson could be brother and sister!

  1. It's a GREAT idea with the slicer! That kitchen is great, love the colors in there too! Makes you look very smashing while smashing...I mean cutting. (Still wondering about the dining room texture bc I like that too =) What recipe do you use for you pizza dough? Been in search for the perfect taste, texture, thickness. That dress on Cece gave me an idea! Sew a skirt onto a shirt & make a dress!

  2. The dining room walls look like old tin ceiling. So cool! Passionate Homemaking has a soaked pizza crust that I use. Pretty good and makes four so 2 for dinner 2 for freezer.
