Today I called Robert, at my wits end, because I couldn't get the girls to stop whining and complaining. Later, Cecelia had a little diarrhea issue all over the rug/floor/me/hall. I'm not too proud of what I heard from my own mouth. Its hard to admit that your kids are sometimes nasty because you are :/
So at nap time they all went to sleep!!! Hallelujah!!! Angels sing!!! and I started painting myself a little reminder. Thought y'all might need this as well. I just ordered a print for myself and added six more to the cart;) So keep a weather eye out for some happy mail.

That has been one of my mottos for a long time. Memaw use to say if she heard me singing she knew something must be wrong. I have always preached, I mean taught, to my ladies class when a depressing thought (a worry, a problem, any bad thoughts) comes to your mind have a song that you know real well and start singing it. Pretty soon the bad thought goes away because you are thinking about singing. Some problems may take a lot of singing.
ReplyDeleteI had one of those days today when I said, "Let's just load them up and ship them off! Maybe to a real school!?" Everyone who has never done it says how patient and creative you must be to have your kids home with you all day long, but it's just not like that all of the time is it? Whew! It will be so much easier AFTER the baby is born, right? Six kids, one being an infant, will be so much easier than five and being pregnant.... right?
ReplyDeleteMust be something in the air, we have had a couple of rough days too. Glad I am not the only one:) I actually just put on some music to help everyone (mainly me) to calm down:)
