To answer Sheila's question

I actually do have a tip for cleaning off areas (or anything really that you don't want to do)

If the house is a WRECK or I need to clean off an area that is so daunting. I just  say to myself or to the girls, "ok just do the next thing"

Basically saying I don't have to clean everything. Just pick up one thing and deal with it and then do the next thing. It's crazy how well this works.  The key is to not pick and choose what to clean in the area. Just do the next thing that your hand touches. 


Does that make sense?

    I thought you were going to say your secret was a black garbage bag :) They work pretty well too. Sometimes I say something similar to the kids. " Just pick up one thing and deal with it." They have a hard time going into a messy room and knowing what to do first.
