Thanksgiving day

Started with me waking up so thirsty. So I went and drank about a 1/4 cup of leftover ginger, vit c, acv drink.  Almost immediately I felt like I had to throw up!  I'm going to look into it but can you over dose on this?  :). I've been drinking a lot to help with the cold but this batch was rather potent. Thoughts?

After getting me a trash can just in case, Robert took the three girls and let me sleep:) true love I tell you!

Then in our pajamas and half dressed state we cuddled on the couch while the girls ate a piece of farm bread. But only after they crumbled it into complete crumbs. Rob went out and ran hot water through the hose to defrost it so we had water. We aren't big fans of the freezing temps while in the rv:p

After I while I took Cecelia and Charlotte into the bedroom to get Cecelia dressed. We had a conversation like this:

I couldnt believe she remembered so well. Christal brought them over for us to test over a week ago:)

Charlotte was laying on the bed playing with the blanket during that time. I left her there and ran to put the sweet potatoes in the oven. Came back to this... I'm not going to lie this baby is spoiling her mama:). I'm not complaining!

On to some fun...

Little one wakes up to help daddy. However, I don't think she did her job very well because

That's right I beat Robert and those little girls like a boss!  Maybe a little Lyon coming out in me:)

On the opposite side of the board Robert and Charlotte enjoyed lollipop forest:).  All around a great time!  For me at least :)

A quick shower and then we headed to mike and christals for appetizers. In typical Christal fashion there was an amazing spread.

We hadn't even prayed before the girls had a cheese stick in their hand.

Christals sister, patty, brought her baby and the girls had fun playing with her:)

The girls were just a tad excited when Christal sent them on their way with a whole container of cheese sticks. Those things made their day!

Next stop Maryas

This is the first year the girls got to sit at the big table. They were pretty excited:)

And Cecelia and mason were excited too because there was no one at their table to tell them what to do.

We had THM cranberry wassail and cranberry sauce. Yum!

Bunch of techno babies...

Even after hours of playing the girls were not happy to leave. But mentioning that we were going to grandmas next helped a little bit:)

Of course by the time we got there we were almost ready for bed:). We said hi to bard and Andrea.

Ate a little apple and pumpkin pie.

Said good bye and headed home :). Happy thanksgiving and good night!

  1. Lovely post!
Too much of the apple cider vinegar can irritate the stomach but I'm not sure it would make you feel nauseous??
I was like WHAT? Patty has a baby?!?!

  3. Sounds like a fun-filled thanksgiving! Loved all the details :-) we added cheese straws to our thanksgiving yummies this year too! I sympathize with Cecelia ;)
