I started working on these today. It is so much easier for me to pay attention to what is being said when my hands are busy. Even in college my notes page had so many doodles and drawings that it would drive daddy crazy. Then one day I just reminded him to look at the grade book

ReplyDeleteAndrea. Do you mean to crochet? I like knitting too but crochet is so much faster and less stressful. If the needle comes out and gets pulled then it just slowly unravels and you can just pick it up where ever (only one loop). With knitting I would get so stressed about dropping and picking up stitches. I have a beautiful shawl that I was making from wool that Travis gave me last year. I worked so hard on it and then just a few lines from finishing the girls pulled the needles out (I was up to almost 200 stitches) I cried and packed it away.

ReplyDeleteMelissa, I just started my shawl and I was wondering about yours. Now that I know, I won't mention it when I see you in hopes of avoiding opening old wounds. I hope one day you can forgive those two precious little girls and have Mrs. Carol finish that shawl for you.
