Found a tick on Bella’s back last night and this is what it looks like this morning. Any ideas? Just red from the bite or something more? Sent her to church with plantain on it.
This bite on her belly is a few days old but had the same redness this morning.
I would just mark the dates on the calendar that she got the bites and keep up with the plantain until the redness is gone. Could you tell if the ticks had been in more that 24 hours (full of blood, buried deep, etc.)? The bullseye usually has a white section inside the outer ring not like this redness. Do you still have the astragulus tincture? Anyway, this looks like irritation to me from the bite. Have her jump around and run a lot to move her lymph.

ReplyDeleteNo it hadn't been in long and I thought it was just irritation. Especially when she came home and it wasn't as red. Just made me nervous the way it was round. Jumping? Moving? However will I get her to do that? :)
