Remember how the biscuit topping to that pot pie tasted funny? This is why:
TJ thinks it is funny to take the most obvious baking powder container and instead package BAKING SODA in it. That’s 4 dz biscuits in the freezer that taste funny=/
oh, that's so sad! Baking powder has such a nasty taste! That's really discouraging. Maybe A LOT of butter and jelly and honey and some maple syrup for dipping?
They didn't taste bad, just different. I bought that same can to replace my baking powder. I just happened to notice that it was baking soda as I was making my cornbread. You can believe the whole house knew that I was not happy with Trader Joe's that day. Why? Why? Why put baking soda in a can that has symbolized baking powder for over 50 years or whatever. I guess they expect you to read what you pull off the shelves.
I don't understand. You are not talking about all those great biscuits that you have been bragging about?
ReplyDeleteWell if you follow the recipe...
DeleteI took pics and wrote about those before I actually ate them=/
I really don't mean to hurt your feelings, but I think you did the same thing with the biscuits in my freezer.
ReplyDeleteOh that's terrible! Do you have the same container?
DeleteUnfortunately, yes.
DeleteDo they taste funny or do they just stay flat?
ReplyDeletetaste
DeleteRich- I liked them.
