Your post title made me excited. Is this how Memaw felt when her long lost family was coming? Emilie can't wait to show Bella her "stuff." I have the coolest little shop for us to visit. We call it the co-op. It has probably 50 spaces rented out with antiques, old dishes, old linens, old stuff, etc., etc., etc. It's like an expensive yard sale and cheap antique dealer. I have to stay away because I could seriously overspend :).
ReplyDeleteEvery time we get ready to go somewhere Bella asks is we are going to New York to see her new cousin - every. time. Oh boy maybe I should start selling some stuff if we are going there sounds like heaven! Robert calls me an old lady but I say I just have an old soul...makes me feel better - and it is all the rage now to be "granny chic"
ReplyDeleteNo.1 comment - I am glad you finally made your list and with it on the blog you won't loose it. I made my list a week ago but it keeps growing everyday. Today I am cooking. Well, at least that is my plan. I just put my support hose on so I am ready to go.

ReplyDeleteI seriously am so jealous of this list. I have had to force myself not to carry out my stow away plan. Melissa, spend more time on yourself and the girls for the trip. You'll come home and see he didn't eat all you left or wear all you washed and you'll say "What, I spent so much time getting all this ready for you Blah Blah Blah" They don't care! About my funniest blog award - just passing along actual things said to me during pregnancy. How do people think you can pull all that off? And, you know pregnancy, labor and delivery must be such a breeze for the five of us since we keep doing it (also something recently said to me:).
ReplyDeleteI have three extra seats and you have three days to get ready... No - I don't believe you! Well actually I do. Someone said to me that they bet the five of us must hop out of bed right after birth since we birth at home. People - if only they could be perfect like us!
