About three hours after we got here in New York, Arrabella found “Big Baby.” A doll that is freakishly large and looks like a real baby. My heart has flipped a few times when I saw Arrabella carrying Cecelia down the stairs or when Elaina was folded in half beside the couch. Of course after a few second you realize it is a doll, but still… Maybe because it is so much like a real baby that Bells loves it so much – it really brings out the little mama in her. I have no idea what we are going to do when we leave. Maybe Big Baby will find a home in my suitcase tucked between two of the quilts from the shower=)
In this first picture I asked her to turn and look at me but each time she did she would see the baby and start talking to her and asking her if she was okay then she would walk around and bounce saying “shh shh shh.” She had no time for posing - she had mama work to do.
The daily teas are coming along…she almost has it right!
We will be doing a luggage check here before ANYONE leaves New York. There will be NO quilts or big baby taken from this house. It is really funny taking big baby out and seeing the reactions from people to Emilie carrying her around. Hilarious!

DeleteYou guys are killing me with the comments to each other when you are in the same house! I love those big babies that make your stomach lurch every time you see them being carried or dropped. Kevin can't stand them and has purged a few after having some major heart attack reactions and then everyone laughs at him. I love the "pinky" pictures.

ReplyDeleteWe have this one that has "real eyes." It freaks him out the most. I think because he is always using these kinds of things to get other people is why it makes us laugh so much.
