Gathering…

One of our favorite chores right now is gathering eggs.  It’s kind of like a treasure hunt finding where they laid in the coup.  Most are laying in the boxes but not all.  We are getting about 10-12 a day and are very thankful for them!  We really need to invest in a larger basket.  Most days we come back with my coat pockets full=)

Hoping we are bringing a treat…

I saw this idea on Pintrest…the chickens can only reach the water with their beaks.  It really works to keep their water from getting nasty.
