Painting Masterpieces

Last night was a little rough.  charlotte Didn’t really like that thought of sleeping anywhere but tucked tightly to my side, head nested in my armpit.  Makes for very restful sleep.  Then this morning I asked Robert to take her for just 15 minutes so I could sleep, but he used some lame excuse about having to go work for a living or some such nonsense.  So the morning consisted of Donald Duck on YouTube and me giving in when the girls asked to paint.

Every time I pointed the camera at Cecelia she would say, “Cheese.”  Finally, Arrabella said, “Cecelia!  Stop saying Cheese! Mama’s camera doesn’t know that word.”

When Bella asked for her picture she gave me a corny smile so I started making fun of it.  So she looked away, shook her head and said, “oh, yeah”, and reset her face to this…

They kept asking me to paint with them so I got out some of my birthday gift from mom and practiced a mountain.  I started painting with watercolors a few months ago and I love it!  I love that there are a lot of techniques to making things look good but at the same time you can just do some lines, they run together, and it looks amazing!
