A week ago mom gave me the hutch that was in the basement, but it was covered in mildew. So I left it outside until I could talk someone into cleaning it off for me. Today, I let $5 talk for me and paid Billy to do it=) Then we brought it in and I cleaned the inside.
Then I filled it with all my material and my two machines. Unfortunately the serger is a little too big to have the rolling window thing close…will have to work on that to see if I can maybe have Robert take off the back. Then I started working to make the top look like I wanted…it went thru many versions – each version Billy said was good. I think he was just tired of watching me rearrange.
I stopped working on the top for a second to hang the clock and painting. The clock I’ve had since my wild single days and the painting (LOVE!) I bought it at an estate sale. Their mother painted it of a tree in their back yard in 86. It was crazy to me that they sold it. Back to rearranging.
This is what it looks like now but I’m not completely in love yet. I decided to take a break… any suggestions from fresh eyes?
Arrabella was so excited to see the cousins when we went to get more potato salad milk. So she asked Emma to read her all of Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm, but when mean ol’ Emma said it was too long Bells talked Holly into reading her one=)

I love the music, what is it? I like all versions of the cabinet and it makes me happy that you are enjoying yourself. I am praying for Robert. Daddy
