Planting, tea and one last pick up

At the end of yard sale season last fall we went to an estate sale and scored a ton of gardening things.  You could tell the person who lived there was very into gardening.  We didn’t really look through everything we were getting so when we got home we realized we had done well for a mere $5.  Aside from a box of seeds from the 80s we got ground cover, a ton of plant markers, bags of peat and vermiculite and my favorite of all… a bunch of trays!

Arrabella and Cecelia helped fill them with soil.  Well Arrabella helped and…_MG_5787

Cecelia just kept trying to eat the dirt until her daddy came and rescued her._MG_5788_MG_5791

The seeds need to come inside to get warm but we needed to leave and I didn’t have a place set up inside yet so I create a little ghetto greenhouse=)_MG_5793_MG_5795

We went to pick up our last milk order from Dan (sniff, sniff) and ran into the Wall’s.  So after a little chat, mom and I went over for tea.  (in the next two pictures look how differently Cecelia and Sheila are dressed.  Just as a hint - Cece was more appropriately dressed and Sheila is a little strange this time around=)_MG_5796_MG_5798_MG_5799_MG_5800

We ordered a few things this time that we haven’t before to help Dan clear his inventory.  It’s a good thing we didn’t know how good his grape juice and Havarti cheese was or we would have been a whole lot poorer!
