Birthdays, Thrifting, and Concrete

On Saturday morning Sheila, Mom, Kathleen, Cecelia and I went to Panera Bread for lunch to celebrate Mom and Sheila’s birthdays.  We were going to go for breakfast but I couldn’t stop thinking about the BBQ chicken salad so I suggested lunch=)  I only have this one picture though…we were too busy talking about milk raids, aprons and gardens.

This morning Kathleen and I went to a thrift store in Columbia with only one child instead of four…it was divine=)  Cecelia slept in the sling most of the time.  We stopped at Trader Joes first for Kathleen to stock up before the baby.  She was very good about checking labels and her list.

Thrifting...  checking to see if the yarn is worth buying.  She was into checking things today=)_MG_5614I bought Bella a bike helmet for when she rides in her seat behind us.  As soon as she saw it she ran out to her bike.  Unfortunately, she can’t quite reach the pedals.  She was cute trying though.   _MG_5617_MG_5619

On our way out we saw Sheila and her family…that girl is on her fourth day of her birthday weekend…a little much if you ask me!

To end the day we decided to finally finish the open slot along the edge of our bedroom.  Arrabella loved that she was allowed to help._MG_5647_MG_5648_MG_5651

  1. The older you get the longer you celebrate. I highly recommend it!

  2. I love your blog. My favorite picture was the one with the bike helmet, but then I saw the next picture.
